An open, interactive synthesis of postoperative cognitive and psychological outcomes after brain tumour surgery, indexed by lesion location in MNI152 atlas space.

The system synthesises published studies of postoperative neuropsychological and psychological outcomes in adult brain tumour surgery. Each study contributes a tuple of tumour location, outcome domain, effect size, sample size after standardised data extraction and risk-of-bias appraisal.
For each Harvard-Oxford atlas region and each outcome domain, a random-effects meta-analysis pools effect sizes across studies. When a user selects a region (or uploads a tumour mask), the tool computes a weighted profile across all outcome domains, weighted by overlap with the mask and inverse-variance across studies.
Outputs include pooled effect estimates, 95% confidence intervals, heterogeneity (I² and τ²), the number of contributing studies, and prediction intervals. Effect-size tables, study records, and atlas maps are open and versioned. The brain rendering uses NiiVue (WebGL2) with the ICBM152 template; the atlas is Harvard-Oxford with optional Schaefer 200 and JuBrain overlays in the full release.
All effect sizes shown here are illustrative values calibrated to plausible ranges in the published literature. They are not the result of a real meta-analysis and must not be used for clinical decisions, patient counselling, or research conclusions. The MNI152 anatomical template is real and rendered by NiiVue; the meta-analytic dataset that would populate the outcome profiles does not yet exist.
